2005 Achievements :

From the first moment of the new municipal board , we adopted  transparency and frankness with our people to keep them up with any developments, since we believe this to be a must for any successful work.

The elected Municipality is one year old now ,despite the many obstacles we faced , the unusual hard conditions in Palestine ,in the absence of law sovereignty and executive deterrent authority , and the lack of resources   , the  Municipality did all efforts to implement its elections agenda according to priorities , which took time to identify the urgent and the important issues that should be done first .

Here is a list of 2005 outcomes :

1- The community social center was open and ready for utilization. It is (320 m²) . It consists of a meeting hall , activities hall. The total cost reached (83,000 $).

2-Selected backfill supplying to enlarge  Mahat Street which became (10m) wide , and to pave the( 7 m.)  Gharbiyyeh street .The total cost reached (32.500 NIS).

3- Constructing stairs for Mahat Str. And trash cans stands: this project included to increase the street's retaining wall (1 m.) high , and constructing two stairs to enable people to reach their lands there. Trash cans bases were made available in different sites in the town. The total budget was ( 29.700 NIS).  

4- Tana road rehabilitation :

a- supplying base course

b- storm sewer system , (50cm) diameter reinforced concrete pipe culvert.

c- enlarging  unsafe parts of the road.

Total cost was (19.000NIS).

5- Trash cans maintenance and delivery , solving garbage problem in cooperation with the Palestinian Center for Democracy and conflict Dissolve  .The total cost was  (59.000 NIS).

6- The Secondary Boys' School construction in cooperation with ANERA. The project includes :

 A- a  (2000m²) school building with (14) classrooms , labs , computer hall , a library , a head teacher room and a teachers' room.

B- playgrounds and walls.The total cost is (500,000$).

7- Land purchasing for new  roads. The cost was (4350 JD).

8- Launching  , www.beitfoureek.com , web site concerned with all issues related to the town and municipality .Our email is : info@beitfoureek.com This cost (702$).

9- Establishing a children park  , where kids can spend leisure time and enhance their talents , in cooperation with UNECEF , it includes :

a- providing toys and kids playing stuff.

b- Surrounding the park with walls .

It cost (35.800 $) , in addition to the land provided by the Municipality.

10- Constructing walls and fences to expand a set of internal roads ( work for food program) . It included :

a- making fences along the main street in order to become (16 m) wide.

b- A retaining wall was made for Dreijat Area and Qunaytra .

the total cost was (9000$).

11- Internal roads construction and rehabilitation :

a- roads were opened in Ein Mount , Dreijat, sheikh Muhammed , Karm Al Hayek , Al Gharbiyyeh.

b- Supplying selected backfill for the mentioned areas .

c- Constructing concrete pipe culvert for storm sewage .

The total cost was (60000 NIS).

12-Internal electricity network expansion : providing posts , cables ..etc

The total cost was (150000NIS).

13- Working jobless project : in association with Labor Office , the Municipality was able to provide job opportunities for hundreds of workers during last year .This scheme provided about (800000NIS) .

14- Supplying electricity equipment with ( 158284 NIS) cost .

15- The Municipality grant (26500$)from the   Municipalities Rehabilitation urgent project .The sum was spent as follows :

a- purchasing electric supplies.

b- supplying computers and printers.

c- furnishing the Beit Foureek Social Center.

16- Paying for the high-low pressure project bid for the east areas which cost (117137 NIS).

17- Beit Foureek Medical Clinic was opened  .The Municipality signed a working agreement with the Medical Scientific Society .The Society runs part of the clinic ( general medication , pharmacy , nursing ). A number of physicians pay routine visits to the clinic .More sections ( x-ray, laboratory , dental , hearse ) will be ready to serve clients in a short time.

18- A discount for electric and water applications was made to enhance people to get private  lines .

19- An increase in building license applications , (152) were approved  during 2005.

Projects to be implemented in 2006:

We have prepared a number of schemes during last year ,and we hope to fulfill all of them and even more in the ongoing year .Here are some of them  :

1- Storm sewer system for the main street.

2-  Paving the main street , constructing pavements along it.

3-  Water network project which includes:

a- constructing  ( 100m³)water storage tank .

b-  main line (6 inch diameter).

c- pump

d- internal network and supplies.

4- Constructing a public park.
